Country Sales Manager Wholesale (France / Southern Europe)

Are you our next Garcia's ambassador in France with a mission to grow the Garcia brand within the French wholesale market together with your team?


As Country Sales Manager Wholesale (France) you will coach your team, attract new customers, and expand existing accounts creatively and sustainably. Your experience in the wholesale fashion market will be pivotal in working with our customers to achieve profitable growth.


Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a translation of the overall Garcia strategy into a French sales strategy
  • Manage the commercial process for wholesale and consignment channels to achieve sales targets, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.
  • Lead, coach and inspire your team to ensure the delivery of the Garcia plan and financial objectives.
  • Monitor and manage Garcia's turnover, price margins, returns, and sell-through rates.
  • In collaboration with our business controllers, you'll develop and monitor annual sales forecasts, budgets, and comprehensive reports, including variance analyses and market potential assessments.
  • Maintain sustainable relationships with Garcia customers, ensuring customer selection and contracts align with the sales strategy.
  • Ensure a cohesive sales platform to deliver KPI’s stated in the Sales Business Plan.
  • Develop and grow strategic customers and Like-for-Like revenues in the geographical area.
  • Deliver key account presentations, develop and implement sales programs, and negotiate commercial conditions with major French customers.
  • Identify and prospect new account opportunities, expand product and brand mix with existing customers.
  • Provide market intelligence to the team based on customer and consumer feedback.


We have an office in Paris and showrooms in Lyon and Nantes. Our HQ is in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands. You’ll report to the International Sales Director.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

  • Commercially minded with a target-driven approach.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry, building premium consumer brands in France/Southern Europe.
  • You are able to lead and coach your team to achieve sales targets and maintain profitable customer relationships.
  • Experience with business planning and sales strategy implementation.
  • Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion market.
  • Independent with strong analytical skills.
  • You understand that you will travel a lot for this role.
